Thank you for your interest in learning more about team ownership opportunities.
Interest in starting rival leagues—offering alternatives to entrenched professional sports—is running high. Only recently, sports news outlets were abuzz with reports of two new proposals, just in the area of professional football alone. Savvy businesspeople recognize that there is more demand for sports than supply. However, the approaches taken to tap that demand vary, and the TruStar model indeed stands out from the crowd because it embodies something totally new to the landscape—not just a repackaging of the same product.
TruStar’s vision of starting brand new professional sports leagues in baseball, football, basketball and hockey is both challenging and exciting. TruStar firmly believes these teams will represent wonderful opportunities for the individuals, partnerships, companies, corporations or municipalities that have dreamed of one day owning a professional sports team.
Bear in mind that TruStar Sports is equally focused on spreading its message of change and building a community of motivated fans. Accordingly, leagues will commence when TruStar believes that the time is right to launch their new leagues.
We all know just how limited is the chance to own a team in any SPORTS PAST league due to a limited supply and exorbitant prices.
TruStar Sports has the potential to become as or even more popular than SPORTS PAST when we are able to enlist team owners with vision and commitment.
TruStar Sports is just out of the gates.
As we mentioned on a previous page, fans are asked to join sooner rather than later to help accelerate the focus on TruStar Sports. As more and more fans find out, believe in and join the ranks of other member fans, then they’ll be more and more interest and movement in the promotion of the new teams and leagues.
To help guide the whole process, respective commissioners for each league are being searched out, hired and groomed. The inaugural commissioners for each league will be special in the sense that they’ll be asked to actually go out and help promote the enlistment of prospective team owners. These new commissioners may have previous actual experience in their own respective sports, sports management or even come from other leagues. Assuming a commissioner is poised in the league of interest, most communication from prospective team owners will occur through the commissioner of each new league.
The idea of pro sports built around all three stakeholders—the owners, players and now the fans—and not just the owners and players, is brand new and unique in pro sports. Once the idea becomes in vogue, it truly will be as popular, or even more popular, than sports as we know them.
To Jump Start the New Leagues
League development initially will proceed with guarded optimism especially in the face of the existing and entrenched pro sports leagues as we know them. And rightfully so. But remember that TruStar Sports is not more of the same, but a whole new concept with a brand new business model. With the success of such things as fantasy sports, recreational gambling and now performance shows where fans choose the winners, it truly is the model of the future, especially with the problems witnessed in the existing sports.
For potential owners who share the same foresight as TruStar Sports, those who have always wanted ownership of a true major league team . . . we offer a huge incentive. Just as we offer Founding Charter Members their money back as soon as play begins, for believing in market-based sports, buying Power to the Fans and getting their TruStar Sports membership, we have a similar offer to the founding teams in the first league to begin play.
Here’s the Deal
Once the first league is up and running, it’s only a short matter of time before the other three leagues will begin play as they witness the success of the first league. But it’s getting that first league up and off the ground that represents the central challenge. Again, for those who share the same foresight as TruStar Sports: take a chance with market-based sports and get rewarded. Remember, the first 100,000 fans to join TruStar Sports, the Founding Charter Members, get their money back! The first TruStar Sports league to have the minimum amount of established teams and to begin play, those team owners get their money back when the other leagues begin play! The team owners of the first league to begin play get back their payments for team ownership rights!
Just Consider
Twenty years ago, who would have thought that something called a computer would be as ingrained in our society as it is today.
Fifteen years ago, who would have thought that the majority of American citizens would own and operate a cell phone.
Ten years ago, who would have thought that the Internet would play such a big role in our lives.
Six years ago, who would have thought that fans would be choosing their next performing idols.
So, too—perhaps in the very near future—we’ll have pro sports leagues that are free from all the negative issues that have damaged pro sports, are as competitively balanced from one market to the next no matter what the size of each respective market, and will also have the fans actually help decide player salaries according to their performance (imagine fans making trades on their cell phones at a game, at home or at anytime).
Eventually we’ll look back and say why didn’t we do this a long time ago!
Ma Bell who? What’s 35mm? I have to pay my bills with checks?
Answers to Some Basic Questions
What is the price for a new TruStar Sports team?
The price for purchasing a team will be determined by multiple factors and will be confidential between TruStar and the potential owners who pass an initial suitability screening.
How will teams be awarded?
Initially, the start-up teams of each league will be awarded simultaneously at a league inauguration ceremony. This will be when any league has as few as 12 teams ready to compete, with unlimited opportunities for future expansion.
What league will start first?
We are accepting inquiries for all TruStar Sports leagues. Maybe basketball will start first since it requires smaller teams and venues are more easily available. With the NHL in dire straights, maybe they’ll see that market-based sports are truly the pro sports of the future, not want to compete, fold their existing league and begin anew under TruStar Sports. Maybe football . . .
maybe baseball.
When will play begin?
Play will begin when team minimums are met and the TruStar Sports administration and the commissioner of each league give their approval.
